Kristen Says: ‘David is very technical’
The examiner has an article which mentions Kristen talking about Eclipse director David Slade.
While at the Sundance Film Festival promoting The Runaways (in which she portrays rock legend Joan Jett alongside Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie from the band of the same name), Kristen Stewart was kind enough to share her views on the forthcoming third leg to the Twilight saga films, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Particularly, Stewart shared her opinions on Eclipse’s director, David Slade, who fans of the series have come to know only through his use of the social networking site, Twitter.
Said she about Slade, according to HitFix, “He’s a very technical director. Very.” Stewart continued on to describe Slade as “thoughtful,” “conceptual,” and “deliberate.”

Cherie Currie Interview
Here’s an interview with Cherie Currie which is who Dakota Fanning is playing in ‘The Runaways’. She talks about Dakota and Kristen.
Cherie Currie was 15 when she started scandalising middle America. That was when she auditioned to become the lead singer of all-female teenage rock band the Runaways, a group that would send shockwaves through the suburbs with their attitude-fuelled performances and sexually explicit lyrics.
Their first single, “Cherry Bomb”, talked unapologetically about “wild girls” and “street boys” and several radio stations refused to give it airtime. Currie would routinely appear on stage wearing stockings, suspenders and a tight-fitting basque so that even the reliably liberal Village Voice was moved to denounce the girls as “bimbos”.
The year was 1976. Jimmy Carter was about to be elected president. It seemed America was not yet ready for five adolescent females who played their own instruments and sang openly about sex. But Currie didn’t care. “We truly believed girls could play rock’n'roll,” she says now from her home in Los Angeles. “We knew we were going into unknown territory. We had to fight on a daily basis, especially with a lot of male bands who didn’t take us seriously.” She gives a long, throaty laugh. “I look back 30 years and I still can’t believe it.”
‘The Runaways’ Portrait Session
Yesterday Kristen and Dakota both arrived at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Kristen and Dakota are they for ‘The Runaways’ and Kristen also has another film in Sundance, ‘Welcome To The Rileys’ which the premiere happened yesterday. Below are images of the first portrait session for ‘The Runaways’, there’s a second session but the files are too big and there are to many for me to upload this month. So I might have to upload them next month due to the internet.

Howard Shore to Write Score for ‘Eclipse’
It looks lie Howard Shore will be composing the Twilight Saga: Eclipse score.
Howard Shore is on board to compose the original score for the third film in the Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Temple Hill Entertainment today confirmed to MovieScore Magazine that the Lord of the Rings composer is going to write the music for the film, following in the footsteps of Carter Burwell (who scored the first film in 2008) and Alexandre Desplat (who wrote the music for the second, New Moon). Shore has begun work, spotting the movie, this week.
Howard Shore is, of course, best known for the Tolkien trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, an epic work that is currently touring the world in concert form, performed live to projection. Shore also recently rescored the Mel Gibson action thriller Edge of Darkness for Warner Bros, replacing John Corigliano. This film is opening in the US next week.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is based on the third novel in the series of four books written by Stephenie Meyer. The film is directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night and Hard Candy), with returning cast members including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone. Summit Entertainment will release the film on June 30.
New Movie For Rob
Looks like Rob is going to be a new movie according to Variety. The movie is called ‘Water For Elephants’ and it’s based on the novel by Sara Gruen.
Robert Pattinson and Sean Penn are circling Fox 2000′s Depression-era drama “Water for Elephants.”
Reese Witherspoon has already boarded to the film, which will be directed by Francis Lawrence. Scribe Richard LaGravenese is adapting for the bigscreen.
Based on Sara Gruen’s best-selling historical tome of the same name, story centers on a Cornell U. veterinary student who leaves his studies after his parents are killed and joins up with the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, working as a vet for the circus. Witherspoon will play Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August (Penn), the charismatic but twisted animal trainer.
Studio, which is eyeing a June start date, wouldn’t confirm details of the project. Gil Netter, Erwin Stoff and Andrew Tennenbaum are producing.
“Twilight” star Pattinson has been on every studio’s wish list. His deal is expected to close. Penn, who is in Haiti on a humanitarian mission, is the bigger question mark. He has an offer from the studio but is still mulling the role.
