Soundtrack News For SA
I just received emails from Look & listen and Musica regarding the New Moon Soundtrack.
This is from Look & Listen:
Hi Nadia,
Thank you for your request on www.lookandlisten.co.za. The New Moon album should be coming out in the month of October, unfortunately we do not have a specified date or price on the item.
This is from Musica:
Dear Nadia
Thank you for your e-mail.
We do not have an official release date but as indicated from our suppliers,
looks like it could be an Oct/November release.
So it looks like we’ll be having it next month people! So excited!
EDIT: My internet cap has just run out. So I guess the next update I’ll be making is on the first of October.
I will still be on twitter though so you can catch some update at our twitter @twilightsa or on mine @nadiades Sorry everyone.
Exclusive Interview with Kellan Lutz
Twilight Parents Examiner has this exclusive interview with Kellen. Check it out below.
After a grueling day on the set of Eclipse and playing guinea pig in preparation for shooting fight scenes, the always-gracious Kellan Lutz was sweet enough to use some of his much-needed down time to chat with me.
Kellan is an open book about many things close to his heart, including a several month journey to Africa to film Generation Kill, and his dog, Kola. I’ll reveal more about his passions tomorrow in part two of our interview. During our conversation, however, the issue of respect came to play, giving fans an inside peek into the lack of privacy which has become a constant in the lives of the Twilight stars.
Hype surrounding the Saga and enthusiastic, gift-bearing fans are at a culminated high during the filming of Eclipse, as are paparazzi determined to catch the actors in any situation, both on and off set. While the actors of the Twilight Saga are incredibly generous and appreciative of their endearing fans, they, too, enjoy their much-needed, rarely granted seclusion.

Weitz Talks ‘New Moon’
Boxoffice has this awesome interview with director Chris Weitz. He talks about fan experiences, Rob and Taylor taking off their shirts, and some of the music.
It started with a pie. Once Chris Weitz and brother Paul deflowered the dessert in 1999′s American Pie, they became two of the most sought-after directors in Hollywood. Though he was barely out of his twenties, Chris Weitz was smart enough not to squander the opportunity, and instead of signing on to keep the sequels coming (seven, counting the straight-to-DVD installments), he held out to direct more literally adult fare like Chris Rock’s Down to Earth and About a Boy, the Hugh Grant-led adaptation of the Nick Hornby novel. Weitz invested the next several years in his passion project—the big budget fantasy film The Golden Compass—but the film’s irreligious subtext coupled with Weitz’s high ambitions and the studio’s anxiety doomed the American release. Though worldwide grosses of $372 million justified the estimated $180 million budget, its comparatively small US take left everyone involved backing away from what had once considered a surefire franchise. But with The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Weitz has taken the reins of another hit franchise, and he’s certain to steer this one to box office success. Weitz talks to BOXOFFICE about the power of break-up stories and his family’s gratitude to vampires—a lineage that stretches back to his grandparents.
How do you direct a film when everyone knows the story and ending?
In a way, that’s an advantage. That people know and love the book means that people know and want to see the movie, which is what you hope for when you’re making a film. It’s a fine balance between being as faithful as possible to the spirit of the book, and bringing changes. I regard myself as fan as much as any other, and the way that I see the book in my head is just like any other fan’s ability, except that I happen to have tens of millions of dollars at my disposal to realize that vision. One hopes that it’s a strong enough envisioning of the book that people will be amused and entertained and excited even though they know how things are going to end.

NEW YORK — Muse landed landed in New York this weekend for their American television debut on the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (September 13). Stepenie Site Update
Seth has updated Stephenie’s Site. Check out what he said.
Hi. I hope everyone is having a great week.
It has come to my attention through several concerned emails that many popular websites like MySpace and Facebook are displaying ads offering a chance to win Midnight Sun. This is a hoax. I would advise against giving out any personal information or even clicking on the links.
That is my ‘tip of the day’ from your friendly neighborhood webmaster. On a more exciting note, we only have to wait 71 more days until New Moon the movie hits theaters! In case you don’t want to have to count the days on your calendar (like I just did) every time you think about Edward and Jacob, I’ve added a countdown widget to the New Moon Movie page (right side).
