Okay so probably most of you guys have seen on the sidebar about me looking for staff. I just wanted to post why I’m looking for staff.

It’s that time of the year when exams start and stuff and I’ll be writing my prelim exams in September. So of course I wont have time to update. I should actually be studying right now cause you know I dont have an Edward to help. But I really felt the need to post this. After my prelim exams are done I’ll be writing my finals so I’m going to be really busy until the November. I really hope I wont be writing when New Moon comes out.
Also in December I wont be here is SA to actually update because I’ll be going on a holiday for a month and wont have any internet access. I starting to wonder how I’m going to live with my daily twilight news. And in December we’ll also be celebrating one year online. I was planning to update the site with a new HQ layout by then. I actually cant wait.

So I decide it was time to look for someone to help me update the site with news and images. You dont have to be a South African to be part of the job. If you are well then that’s just a bonus. If you intersted in helping me and want to find out more then click here to see what you need to qualify to become part of the staff.

I hope I can find someone soon because I’m in desperate need of someone to help me out when out.

Okay so it’s time to give a update on some of the Twilight cast movies that are coming out here and the New Moon movie news.

I was looking through Nu Metro and Ster-Kinekor for any movies that are coming out with any of the cast members and I only came across two. First with is Jackson Rathbone’s (Jasper Hale) movie called ‘The Last Airbender’. I’m sure most of you have heard of it.
So the movie is actually coming out on 10 September 2010. I know it’s far away but maybe it will move up. Below is some information about the movie.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang discovers that he’s the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara, a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka, to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Second I came across Robs movie ‘Little Ashes’ and it’s coming out on the 02 October 2009. I’m sure most of you have heard of this movie where he plays Salvador Dali.
It looks like it will be coming out only in Ster-Kinekor. Check out below for more information.

In 1922, Madrid is wavering on the edge of change as traditional values are challenged by the dangerous new influences of Jazz, Freud and the avant-garde. Salvador Dali arrives at the university; 18 years old and determined to become a great artist. However as time passes, Salvador feels and increasingly strong pull towards the charismatic Federico – who is himself oblivious of the attentions he is getting from his beautiful writer friend, Magdalena.

An important angle on this film is that is stars Robert Pattison from TWILIGHT. Heat magazine has run numerous adverts of the film…

As for New Moon both cineams are saying that it will be coming out on the 27 November 2009.
Over at TwilightSAfans they have some interesting news about a pre-screening here in South Africa.

The UK’s Daily Record has an interview with Rob where he talks about a bunch of stuff including being mobbed by fans and watching himself on screen.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson finds being lusted after such hard work, he never stays in the same place for more than 20 minutes.

The 23-year-old Brit has become a sensation as the cold Edward Cullen in vampire movie Twilight.

This week, he took the Hottie award at the Teen Choice Awards – with Megan Fox winning the female equivalent – and was voted the sexiest man in the world ahead of Brad Pitt, and David Beckham in a Glamour magazine poll.

It means Robert is mobbed wherever he goes by screaming girls, especially since the explosion of social networking site Twitter.

“I can’t remember what my normal life is like,” he admitted in one of his quieter moments.

“Because of internet stuff and Twitter, there will be a crowd if you are in a place for more than half an hour.

You guys should totally read this interview with Mike Welch. (who plays Mike) It’s so funny.

“New Moon” actor Michael Welch might not have Robert Pattinson’s hair, but he certainly has the dance moves to get his cute face some attention. In between filming scenes for The Twilight Saga, Michael is on a mission to help you with your acne!! He is featured in a “High School Musical”-like series called Aczone: The Musical where he dances and sings all for the cause of clear skin.

In between popping pimples and dancing, Michael Welch has caught up with us to answer some Buzznet members questions. In this genius interview, Michael has accused Edward Cullen of stealing Zac Efron’s sparkle and suggests that Bella rents The Hangover.

Ah-nell-ee: If you met Bella in real life, what would you say to her? What would you say to Edward?

Michael Welch: I would tell Bella, “Listen girl. I know you’re caught up in this supernatural love triangle, but why don’t you give Mike Newton a shot? If the werewolf represents the stable option in your life, and the vampire is constantly fighting the urge to drain you of your precious blood, maybe you need broaden your horizons a bit and consider dating a HUMAN BEING! Just a thought.

Twilight Proms is a brand new style of weekend event for fans of the Twilight saga! This event will be held from Friday 18th – Sunday 20th of September 2009 and will be split into two venues! That’s right, our Twilight guests are going on the road! Friday night and Saturday the guests will be at the London venue, while Saturday night and Sunday they will be joining the fans in Birmingham. There will be activities each day from the usual guest talks and autograph sessions to late night parties – for more information on these, check out our events section. This event will take place in The Hilton Metropole Hotels in both London & Birmingham – and you will receive a special room exclusive for each night you book! Aaaaiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee! Yes, insert your earplugs now, because this year’s Empire and BFI Movie-Con II is going to include not one, but two new scenes from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which we know may cause some of you to faint with sheer excitement.

The film’s not due out until November 20, but you’ll be getting a sneak peek at two key scenes at this weekend’s event. While we can’t tell you which ones just yet, we can guarantee a)brooding and b) pining for an absent true love.

Watch out for more announcements as we get them, and please note that we’re serious about those earplugs. If you’re planning to scream, on the other hand, might want to bring lots of water for that scratchy throat, eh?
